Grouting

RaKon provides specialised grouting and injection services for the offshore wind and oil & gas industries, as well as other marine and offshore structures.

We support projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from technical planning, material selection and procedure development to equipment testing, mobilisation and offshore execution.

With experienced personnel, high-performance mixing equipment and comprehensive quality control, we deliver reliable grouting solutions for demanding offshore operations across both renewable and conventional energy sectors.

RaKon has developed a modern, high-performance mixing system, the Recirculating Jet Mixer (RJM), specifically designed for demanding offshore grouting operations.

The system offers a production capacity of up to 60 m³/hour per unit, combining high output with automated process control, continuous monitoring and comprehensive data logging.

RaKon operates two identical RJM units that can function independently, providing full mixing equipment redundancy, high operational flexibility and reduced risk of downtime.

The equipment has been developed and manufactured in the Stavanger region, drawing on more than 25 years of experience with similar mixing technology.

RaKon operates two offshore-certified silos, each with a storage capacity of 100 tonnes. The silos are designed for safe storage and efficient handling of dry grout materials during offshore operations.

Together with the RJM systems, the silos provide an integrated solution for continuous, high-capacity grout production. Additional silos can be manufactured as required, allowing capacity to be tailored to future projects and customer requirements.

RaKon is also working on further developing the silo design to enable transportation within the dimensions of a 45-foot container. The aim is to simplify international transport and logistics, reduce transportation costs and facilitate more efficient mobilisation for offshore projects.

As part of AF Gruppen, RaKon and AF Claxton combine their specialist capabilities to offer integrated foundation installation services for the offshore wind industry.

By combining AF Claxton's extensive experience in offshore pile preparation, cleaning and dredging with RaKon's high-capacity grouting solutions, we provide a coordinated approach from pile preparation through to structural grouting.

This integrated approach helps reduce interfaces, optimise mobilisation and offshore resources, and minimise handovers between operations – contributing to more efficient and cost-effective foundation installation.
